Are you ready to take the financial helm of a tech company on the cusp of transformative growth?
InTouch is a leading provider of cutting-edge solutions in traffic enforcement and curbside management, serving a rapidly growing Govtech/B2G market. The company has grown to 40 employees and is headquartered in Belgium, with sales operations spanning other European countries.
With plans to turbocharge growth through product innovation and an imminent launch in the US, InTouch is entering an exciting phase of its journey. To support this expansion and navigate the complexities of scaling both domestically and internationally, InTouch is seeking an ambitious and dynamic CFO to join its leadership team.
This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives, enhance operational efficiency, and play a critical part in shaping the future of a thriving tech company.
Partnering with our entrepreneurial Co-CEO team, you’ll hold a pivotal leadership role at InTouch.
Role & Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Take a leading role in driving InTouch’s financial and commercial strategy, ensuring the business scales internationally and sustains its growth trajectory.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to guide decision-making and align with the company’s goals.
Operational Efficiency: Proactively implement new systems and tools to automate processes, enhance accuracy, and improve efficiency across the finance function.
Investor Relations: Deliver compelling presentations to the board, articulating InTouch's financial performance and growth strategies to inspire confidence and align stakeholders with our vision.
Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
M&A Leadership: Drive all aspects of potential M&A activities, including forming strategic rationales, conducting due diligence, and leading post-merger integration.
International Scaling: Navigate the complexities of international growth, particularly in expanding operations within the US.
Financial Controls: Ensure robust financial controls and processes are in place, with efficient and accurate statutory and management reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement: Manage key relationships with investors, auditors, financial advisors, insurers, and legal counsel.
Legal Oversight: Review complex legal documents, including commercial agreements and legal letters, ensuring alignment with financial and strategic goals.
Job requirements
What we’re looking for in you:
Hands-On Mentality: You’re proactive with a strategic mindset, able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Experience: Approximately 10 years of financial leadership experience, ideally within the SaaS industry or a fast-scaling technology business.
Education: A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities, with the ability to derive insights that guide decision-making.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with financial software and tools, and an interest in leveraging emerging technologies to drive efficiency.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Organisational Talent: Naturally brings calm and clarity to rapidly changing environments, keeping the team focused and aligned.
Multilingual Proficiency: Fluent in English and Dutch, if you have any French that would be great but not essential.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: An innate passion for growth and innovation, with a "Yes, we can" attitude to tackle challenges and drive success.
Strategic Vision & Execution: Expertise in scaling businesses internationally, with a strong understanding of SaaS unit economics and metrics that drive profitable growth. If you have US expansion experience it would be a nice bonus.
Transaction Experience: Significant exposure to crafting strategic rationales, raising finance, conducting due diligence, and leading post-merger integration.
